feedblitz has potential but its much to loud and invasive for my taste. 

i specifically wanted to offer this subscription option to the vlogosphere and is only intended for videoblogs.  having the enclosure/attachment was obviously critical and yes, the cell phone/3gp aspect was a motivating factor. 

the enclosure could always hook into a peercasting model too.

A month ago when I was looking for one to mention in my book, all I heard were the crickets chirping.

oh well, i've had it on vlogdir for about 2 months... just dont do much promoting except through blog posts.

i have posted here in the past in general about RSS-->INBOX but i too heard those crickets ;-)

With that option, someone could subscribe to Mortaine's Moblog (3gp format) with their cell phone's messaging address and get my moblog... mobile-ly. I was hoping for a client-side option that would put the bandwidth onus on the subscriber, but this is also good, at least till vlogdir has to put the kabosh on its free bandwidth.
