I think CC becomes confusing due to a great part to the "NonCommercial" clause. With open-source, I'm free (freedom!) to use GPL software for any commercial purposes, *including* selling it to whoever wants to buy it, as long as I make the source available and grant the same rights that I was granted. Right? (Not to say that open-source licenses are drop-dead simple to understand, because they are not.) Pete -- http://tinkernet.org/ videoblog for the future... Yahoo!
