There is a piece of software for phpBB that allows a user to insert the posts from a Yahoo group, like this, into your phpBB DB. I was going to use it for k9discussion, but I was afraid that I would have problems with the list owners. The discdog world is quite...interesting... let's say. We are a dysfunctional, but largely happy community.  We had 5 guys going through 10,000 or so messages before I pulled the plug.  That is a way that you could grab all of the info from this list and populate a forum with good information from here.
