Nick,

These are just for Quicktime. The concern the text track (and sprite
track) that Quicktime offers in addition to the video and sound
tracks. Everything clever is lost when that file is then converted
to flash. But there should be a separate way of getting
interactivity out of flv files. Not sure how, but I would imagine
it's possible. Revver seem to do it.

I wish I could help you more, but I have a feeling you will have to
slave over it a little to get it working - and try a few different
apps... that's the way these things always seem to be for me the
first time :) Then when you start to understand how it works, you
can get yourself a better workflow. And maybe you can come back here
and share your newfound knowledge. That'd be great.

Kath O Donnell on this list provided the second tutorial you tried.
Perhaps you could search for her old messages on the group and try to
email her off list? She might be able to help you out. Or, if you
use eZedia, you might get some good help from others here who use
it. Maybe try the textation app that Rocketboom uses?

Thanks I will try to reach Andreas...

I tried working on these tutorials last night:

http://www.apple.com/quicktime/tutorials/hreftracks.html

http://www.aliak.com/node/2439

and I couldn't get it to work.. Maybe, I'm just not that skilled yet.

PS. Does the hyper link only work with Quicktime (.mov) files or the
Flash videos or both?
