Daniel,
I've already said that I didn't like, or agree with, the video he posted (which wasn't on a PodTech property, but did have a logo next to it). I'm working on this issue with Steve Gillmor and the editorial team here. I'm not able to act quickly here, nor alone. This will take a little while to play itself out and I'm sorry about that. At this point, it is clear that Podtech hasn't taken action, which infers that it is tolerating this work. The unfunny racist rants are despicable, and I think that the investors and sponsors at Podtech have every reason to want to distance themselves from it. I've communicated with John Furrier and Robert Scoble, and I always believe that their hearts are in the right place. However, it is time for some action, and for one company to do the right thing and sever ties with this poison. What is Podtech's point of view? Where are the public statements. In this case silence means that they are supporting this poison. I appreciated Loren Feldman, in fact early on, I did an homage or spoof of him for LateNiteMash http://lnmshow.latenitemash.com/?p=52 He crossed the line, and took Podtech with him. John, Robert, where are you? Sometimes, enough is enough. This was far too much. Please, pull the plug, and stand up tall. This will not go away. Stand for decency, for responsibility. Stand against stupid racist rants, against pandering to the worst in people. Stand tall, and say it as loud as you can, we will not tolerate such ignorance masking itself as humor, such blatent ugliness and intolerance have no place in our circles. It is not funny, it is wrong. Stand tall, Podtech, and do the right thing. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
