This may be totally off base, but I was having trouble (as was everybody else) opening the native .mp4 files created by the 8525 cell phone.
Nothing I found, no codec (I'm now the proud possessor of tons of 'em), no program + codec. Nada. Someone here (I think - or perhaps deep in Google) said to rename the .mp4 file to .3gp and THAT worked. Perhaps before investing any more time, headaches, or God forbid, money, a renaming test might be in order.
