Pat I love a challenge. I've downloaded your .asf video file. I'm going to be out for most of the day so I'll get to tinkering with it when I come back later this evening.
In the meantime, MPEG Streamclip is use to convert file formats, not edit movies. The reason I recommended it was that it was a way to convert mp4 to .avi so you could edit in WMM2. I'm a little miffed that Mustek is mis-representing their product format. Maybe other folks can get to it before I can. Either way it will yield to my software army of conversion products.
