Whilst I can see why blip would want to autoplay some stuff, I hate autoplay, especially as the mute button doesnt seem to work for me on osx, firefox 2, with flash moviestar beta.
The middle ground is perhaps autoplay with automute, or shorter clips, or the ability to store a preference to not autoplay in future. Its definately the sound that is most intrusive, just like net adverts that have sound, hate hate hate!
