1. I tend to not fuc* with people who provide me a tremendous service for free
2. Blip is an awesome firm quite possibly the best firm I've seen in the video, if not the entire web 2.0 space. It is, however, a firm of human beings. Please let them be human beings. The show vs. legacy-TV imitators thing is never going to be fully put to bed, because so few serialized web video programs fall within one extreme or another. It's a case by case thing, and not all of are going to agree. There's some real cool cats and some total douchebags in this space, and perhaps the best practice here is to catch people doing things right and tell everyone who wants to listen about that. We can all do better at this myself included.
