The few video editing software programs I've used have been pretty basic and disappointing. Lots of bugs, limitations and crashing. I'd like to upgrade to something that lets me input h.264 files, edit them there and then export into H.264/MKV. Was wondering if anyone had an opinion on the programs I should be looking at? I'm a PC user, so that leaves out Apple. I'd like to find out which one is the best as well as the best one that doesn't cost an arm or a leg.
