Agreed - they won't mind you taking it back. I know people who have bought an old model a week before a new one is released, and have taken the old one back a week later and swapped it for the new one. You have your consumer rights... and your right is to capture your tape direct to your computer ;) Also, why would you want to spend hundreds of dollars on an old, used machine so that you can do an unnecessarily slow and complicated capture and file transfer process? Just because the machine you bought smells new. That's just weird, isn't it? Better to spend that money on a better new machine, no?
