Hi Guys,

There is a lot of out dated information in this string.  Here are the facts, as 
of February 2010.

1. You need to be a Youtube Partner to get access to customizable (upload your 
own) thumbnails.

2. YouTube used to pull it's thumbnails from preset points in the video 
timeline. Under this method you could insert a still frame right in the middle 
of your video to customize the thumbnail.  This is no longer in use and will 
not work.

3. YouTubes new method utilizes an algorithm to determine the frame that is 
most representative of your video.  So if 75% of your video is purple then it 
will choose a purple thumbnail.  There is no way to trick this system so don't 
waste your time.  (this info comes straight from the mouths of the people at 
YouTube).
