Hello -- We import all new catalog records into a procite database designed years ago, based on the cat date; records are imported one at a time. Originally it flew in as one big set; global changes work. I put a couple fields in for rights info. This database also doubles to create subject lists, as the cat info comes in very clean. I always thought permissions should be right in the catalog record, but it's never happened. Now that we are facing new need to document streaming rights, I'm glad we have it. Takes about one 1/2 day a month, including adding records to subject lists. Jane
