The same goes for William Paterson. We purchase through the distributors directly and I do a lot of my previewing at the National Media Market. We don’t routinely purchase from wholesalers.

I'm particularly interested in whether academic libraries buy from wholesalers. Also public libraries. I'm under the impression that many public libraries buy almost all their titles from the three mentioned above, or one of the three. Is the same true of university libraries?
