This would be an interesting case for the "reasonable " price section of 108. It appears that Zipporah is the one and only legal distributor and that is their price and they do not have it in DVD. No doubt the folks and some institutions would decide they could just dub an old VHS to DVD or buy it from "Hardtofindfilms" ( after all it does not say illegal) because $400 is not a "reasonable " price despite being the ONLY price it was in fact sold at ( well perhaps they once sold it for $300)
As it happens I THINK this film is in fact in the process of being restored by a major archive and would be available retail after that. I am not 100% sure, but someone on this list knows the answer and may chime in.
