They are vinyl covered and we wipe them off after each use just like the rest of our equipment. We currently circulate 15 of them for 2 days. Our Accessibility Resource Center on campus liked them so much they are ordering a couple for their testing room for students with disabilities. I picked these because they cancelled out a lot of noise and they look pretty similar to our regular headphones we check out.
