Yep. :-)  My point was that this opens up a can of worms as you will
never catch all possible regexes to *really* avoid missing an attach-
ment.  Having said that, I do have this in my configuration:

  (setq vm-tale-is-an-idiot 't)

This solves a distantly related problem, forgetting a "Subject" entry.
Arguably easier to do, though.

To do this properly, I will have to follow these steps:

0. Switch OS from Ubuntu 20.04 to Debian 12.11.
1. Replace 8.2.0b (shipped with Ubuntu) by the 8.3.x gitlab prerelease.
2. Set up a minimal config that still exhibits the bug.
3. Report the bug.
4. Repeat for all other bugs.

So far I am working on step #0... expect bug reports in 2026 ;-)
