Dear developers,

I use Viking frequently for planning of bicycle tours and I find it a
great app for doing that. Then I download the gpx.-files to my Android
Smartphone and use them with the App "Osmand" for navigation.

Yet I miss the following features:
1) When selecting a trackpoint, you can display its distance from the
start and the end of the respective track in a pop-up. #
The reason: I like to make use of pre-existing tracks for creation of
new tours. To this purpose, I join the tracks side to end or side to
side. With this feature I could plan much faster and easily calculate
the total distance before cutting and splicing the tracks.

2) The map can also be moved by arrow-keys and not just by
mouse-pointer. # Then I needn't release the planning tools for moving
the map. At least in KDE of Kubuntu the arrow keys don't work.

3) The possibility to change the language of Viking within the app. # I
prefer running Viking in English on my German Kubuntu, as the help is in
English.

4) Support of the server http://www.openrouteservice.org/ for routing. #
It offers routing for bicycle and (to my experience in Germany) delivers
good results.

My system: Kubuntu 14.04

With honest regards,
