Are you certain the messages are coming to the address you think they're
coming to? If you check the message headers the first of the Received
lines may say something like this (from my own mailbox):

Received: from [some machine and IP address here]
        by soc.aniteps.com (8.13.6/8.13.1) with ESMTP id k3BMlfw6008636
        for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Tue, 11 Apr 2006 23:47:41 +0100

             ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
That's the address the message was sent to, even though that's not the
address on messages I send out. It's an old address that is processed
by the same server and ends up in my main account. If I wanted to
unsubscribe from that list I'd have to send out a message with the old
address on it.

Dear Matthew,

Here's the very top of the "blah-blah" (Eudora's term for it ...) material in the header:
===============
Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Received: from mta30.srv.hcvlny.cv.net
 (mta30.srv.hcvlny.cv.net [167.206.5.101]) by mstr8.srv.hcvlny.cv.net
 (Sun Java System Messaging Server 6.2-4.03 (built Sep 22 2005))
 with ESMTP id <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> for
 [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Wed, 12 Apr 2006 03:15:51 -0400 (EDT)
Received: from foobar.math.fu-berlin.de
 (foobar.math.fu-berlin.de [160.45.45.151]) by mta30.srv.hcvlny.cv.net
 (Sun Java System Messaging Server 6.2-4.03 (built Sep 22 2005))
 with SMTP id <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> for
 [EMAIL PROTECTED] (ORCPT [EMAIL PROTECTED]); Wed,
 12 Apr 2006 03:15:50 -0400 (EDT)
===============

I do not know how to interpret email headers --- let me admit that up front. However, does that ORCPT term suggest something along the lines you mention? Note, though, that there is no other account involved now except for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.

And I am still getting flooded.

Thanks,

Eben
