Yeah, I remember getting these messages as well, but since the only case I could think of where this would happen is of the type you gave an example of I'm guessing that they changed the error message in a very recent version (4.1.1) and I'd prefer not complicating the errorformat unnecessarily to conform to old versions of gcc. But perhaps I'm wrong in my reasoning? Anyway, I'll hold off on this until a working test-case can be produced. nikolai
