In my implementation, it will read from the plus register because preferring the plus register is the current behavior for clipboard=unnamed,unnamedplus, and for the reason you pointed out. I could make it fall back to the star register if the plus register is empty.
The difference with clipboard=unnamed,unnamedplus is that any yank/delete/change operations go to both @+ and @* rather than just @* for unnamed and @+ for unnamedplus. -- -- You received this message from the "vim_dev" maillist.
