Those are my custom toolbar buttons from ~2001: https://github.com/mgedmin/dotvim/blob/master/vimrc#L1370-L1377 I used to have custom icons for them, but have accidentally dropped the .xpm files while moving my ~/.vim from Subversion to git. Hm. I've now resurrected them, but the icons are missing. I've tried converted the .xpm to .png, but that didn't help. /usr/bin/gvim (a gnome2 build) can load them fine from ~/.vim/bitmaps/, so I guess this is something you may want to do something about.
