Thanks!  It helps a lot when I have something to try with.

With the default renderer editing that file feels slow to me too.
However, if I enable the ATSUI renderer
(MacVim->Preferences->Advanced->"Use ATSUI renderer") then it feels ok
again.  You should be using the latest snapshot as well:

Do you notice any difference?
