Hi Björn, That's odd. The patch just adds the Cocoa Standard AppleScript dictionary (aka the Standard Suite), which provides basic objects like "documents" and "windows," and operations like "open," "print," and "bounds." For instance MacVim, with this patch, will respond to the attached script, which opens 5 buffers and arranges them on the screen. Rename the script to have an extension of "scpt" to run it.
