Under gvim 7.2 on windows XP, with a non-blinking block cursor, I want to: - use Cleartype to smooth edges of screen fonts, and - use my favorite opentype/truetype fonts, - yet not suffer the annoyingly slow redrawing of any character the cursor is moved onto.
