Yeah, me too. Similarly, it would be nice to have a radio without ads,
but I can bear the ads before and after the news every hour on the state
radio I'm currently listening to, and the alternative would be going to
the taxpayer for the same amount. For an independent corporation like
wikia.com, since there is no government to go to for support, it would
mean the customer's (the wiki users') pocket, meaning that I couldn't
subscribe since (for legal reasons which are off-topic for this list) I
can't get a credit card (nor, therefore, a PayPal account), and overseas
bank transfers are just too much hassle and expense.
