Hello,

I use console vim for years and feels comfortable. For some reason I
tried to use gvim recently, which seems to lack many features in console
vim.

In a console (especially: the KDE Konsole) I can set a background image
to the terminal emulator and console vim can use the background when
bg=none. That gives a beautiful looking environment for editing and
makes programming a happy task.

However I cannot do the same in gvim, since there's no options to set a
background image. A background image is different from window
transparency, the window transparency feature of compiz only shows the
window below gvim as the background, so I can see the wallpaper only
when there's no other windows under gvim. when there's other windows I
see the windows, not the wallpaper.

Is there anyway to make gvim support watermark or bgimage as console vim?
