Regardless of your personal feelings, it is a list policy. Few things are ruder than refusing to follow the carefully planned policy of a mailing list read by thousands of people, despite being gently reminded of it. The vim mailing lists have very few guidelines compared to many other lists... asking that you bottom post and trim quotes are the two major policies. Forcing 2500 other people to waste time in their day skipping around your message to figure out what you're trying to say because you won't spend 20 seconds to move your cursor and trim some of the text that you're quoting is ridiculously narcissistic. Continuing to do it after being asked to stop shows a willful disregard for our rules. John - Other lists (notably cygwin, which has many more subscribers than we) ban members who repeatedly disregard the rules. Maybe we should too. ~Matt --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message from the "vim_use" maillist.
