I don't think you can, because there's actually no text past end of
line. You would have to insert manually some whitespace at the end of
the line, which is not very difficult using vimscript.

You can insert "artificial" whitespace at the end of lines to fill the
visible width when you load the file and remove that whitespace when
saving the file, maybe...
