It's good that Vim has the "digraph" feature, since I don't have š in my

I'm not sure this would be welcome by many users. In the best case it
would be ignored by many users ;)

I can only speak for myself, and I prefer to have highlighting
restricted to words and the like, but even if I want a different
background color, I don't want it to "bleed" into non-text areas (past
end-of-line, past end-of-file, etc.). Probably a matter of taste.

But I see that the script posted by Christian did the trick, right? :)
