so what -- so there might be a faster engine for our scripts -- vim is not an ide or a programming shell, it's an editor -- if what you are trying to do takes long enough to notice, you can certainly write your javascript, or perl, or whatever as an outside entity and filter your buffer through it speaking for myself alone, i hate javascript because it's got the word java in its name, and for years i was forced to use java -- it was the language du jour -- debugging large buggy projects was a living nightmare because of the way the garbage collector would kick in at different times sc -- You received this message from the "vim_use" maillist.
