You're right. It would be a big mistake throwing away all existing
plugins. Still It think that Vim would benefit from supporting one
language by default other than VimL. Browsers force the common
denominator "JS" - that's all about it. That's why I think it is a good
choice "today" -but who knows what will be used much tomorrow.
