The TCP/IP and AppleTalk cps are from Open Transport. MacTCP and Network cps are "Classic" networking. Looking up a server can still be done via AppleTalk but the transfers have to be done via ASIP (AppleShare via IP). 7.5.5 can do this. You need to install Open Transport, v1.1.2 I believe and you need to get AppleShare Client 3.7. I just went through this on an SE/30 running 7.5.5. It does connect just fine to my Tiger workstation.
