Ah, that explains it. But that doesn't explain why I can't connect to  
my iMac as a registered user. I guess the question I should be asking  
is, is that possible? I would like to be able to transfer files back  
and forth, and I don't think that my public folder will do... Anyways,  
thanks for all the help! I know how to network classic machines, and  
OSX machines but... It's like trying to network between 14 years. Well  
if I can only connect to the public folder, I might start looking for  
other options, like having a 10.2 machine in between, that can connect  
to both.
