When I was un yellowing my stuff, I used a transparent tub, and it seemed to work to put the plastics up against the side of the tub, so that they would get sun through the sides. I had the same foaming problem, and if anything pokes through the top, they get lighter streaks where the bubbles were. (This comes out really easily with a magic eraser, luckily.) I can upload a picture of my setup if anyone's interested in seeing how I did it.
