It's been a day and a half and I've gotten good results on the Mac Plus case.
Take a look at these pictures and you can see how it turned out. http://www.rapidwave.net/mac1.jpg http://www.rapidwave.net/mac2.jpg The first is a picture of the case compared to the front that I took it off (haven't done the front yet, kinda scared to remove the CRT etc from it). The second picture is the same case compared to a Mac SE that I'm also trying to clean up. It's not quite platinum like the SE, but it's definately a LOT better. That Plus shell has been in the soltuion since yesterday afternoon when I started around 4pm. I just rotated it every couple of hours. I also did the SE case at the same time, but I pulled it out earlier today, rinsed it off and let it dry. It ended up with water streaks like rain ran down the side. Not sure how that happened, but I put it back in to soak over night and will see in the morning how it looks. And I took apart the Mac Plus keyboard from it's shell, and put the shell in. Then I thought what the hell and threw in the keyboard as well. I don't think it was making the keys any brighter, but it definately cleaned it off. I took it out though and will let it air dry. The shell still needs some time in the solution. Oh, I did take the spacebar off the keyboard and left that in the solution. Now, does someone have some suggestions on how to best remove the front part of the shell from the Plus/SE Monitor/Board assembly?
