Awesome! I'm getting a beep! I basically dismantled everything, then
reassembled (using a power supply from one of the IIe's). It was one
of two things--either, a.) just reseating all the cards helped or b.)
the speaker was connected backwards.

Believe it or not, it actually wasn't the power supply though. After
I got this, I plugged the original power supply back in and was still
getting the beep. Very cool, looks like I'm on my way to being in
business here...

There's definitely something up with this 9" monochrome display. The
image would come in and out as I would wiggle the plug in the back of
the monitor. Even when an image was displayed, it was wavy and
unclear. So I obviously ran into the other room to kick my wife off
the TV for second... :-)

I actually saw the APPLE II Plus at the top of the screen with the
AppleSoft Basic prompt (as Ivan points out), BUT...

I'm getting these nasty evenly spaced vertical lines going up and down
the screen. Any thoughts on what that might be? Some quick googling
doesn't tell me alot. This might be a more appropriate question for
the Apple II group (which I found shortly after posting this here--
sorry about that).

Thanks everyone!
Aaron P.
