It is a unique Apple part. There was the HD20 hard drive which connected via the floppy port and, IIRC, had a pass through port for another floppy drive. There may also have been some third party floppy drives with a pass through port. From what I've heard there is support for three floppy drives. The typical floppy drive only has a male connector.
