Hello Alex, I don't think that you can connect two Macs together using SCSI as both computers would have the same ID and cause a conflict of some sort.
Why not just make a boot floppy for your SE... unless you don't have a floppy on your Power Macintosh. Anyhow, I think you are asking for problems if you connect the two together.
