I'm pretty sure a Null modem cable won't work on those 2 macs.  They
need a PC type serial port, and mac's used a different type till usb.

You could probably network boot the computer over appletalk/ethernet
though.  But i couldn't tell you how.

Look for a local classic mac usergroup in your area, most likely still
some around, and someone can get your se booting again.
