Indeed. I have done some research myself, and it would seem that old
software was periodically deleted due to not having enough disk space.
Therefore, the super-old software from 1984 up to 1993/94 is largely
_gone_.

However, there was at least one CD-ROM collection which was sold many
years ago which contains the contents of Info-Mac at the time of its
publication, and thus, contains _some_ of the files which were deleted.

The hunt continues...
