IIRC, that was an init called MacPuke.  And yeah, that made the rounds for 
quite a while. If you didn't install the init yourself, it made for quite a 
surprise. :)

I also dimly recall someone doing something along those same lines with sounds 
from the (then-new) film "Little Shop of Horrors."  My memory is pretty hazy, 
but I believe the Mac said "Feed me!" upon insertion of a disk and made a 
"blechh!" sound when you ejected a floppy.

I *think* that particular tweak was a System Sound that the end user added,  
but I'm afraid I just don't recall it all that clearly.  Can someone straighten 
me out here?

Agreed.  Hearing a customized system sound was always amusing for the first 
dozen or so times, but the novelty wore thin pretty quickly. :)
