I think the capicitors can still go bad, even if they don't look it. I
know the ones in my dad's old TI89 Computer TV Box thingummer went
bad, you never were able to tell just by looking, but their internal
resistance goes up over time, and they just stopped doing what they
were supposed to do. (Luckilly a junkshop got a whole shipment of
them, and i picked up a few spares)
