Hi All, I've recently got my Mac Plus back and am trying to get it (well, the HDs) running again.
Here's the lowdown: I have two External SCSI drives, a 50MB and a 2GB, both are Quantum/ LaCie drives. Both are properly terminated with a block cn50 terminator Both mount and read/write perfectly on my Color Classic I've used Anubis to write 3:1 interleaving for both disks, partitioned, drivers installed, etc., installed appropriate system software, etc. No warnings or anything from the scans and tests I've run. Plugged into the Plus: The 2GB with system 6.0.3 starts up just fine, but I can put anything on it/copy to it/etc. HOWEVER, I can't write anything to it (it thinks there's -2,000,000,000KB on the disk) The 50MB drive refuses to mount at all on the plus. It's not the enclosures, as I've tried swapping them out and only the 2GB drive will mount at all. At one time, when I first picked up the Plus at a thrift store, the 50MB drive worked perfectly… I'm wondering where the problem lies with this, as both drives work fine on the Color Classic, and only one mounts and starts up on the Plus. I've read on other threads that I could partition the 2GB into a number of smaller drives. Is its size the reason the Plus is flipping out and not letting me write?
