Far be it for me to tell somebody to NOT try something...  That said, I did go 
looking for my DOS card and PDS video cards for the 6100.  Unfortunately my 
collection is rather disorganized at the moment and I have no idea where they 
are.  My memory is that the video card riser is little more than a right angle 
adapter with few or no components on it while the DOS card has a plethora of 
electronics on it which convert the PPC601 PDS to a '040 PDS slot.  So if my 
memory is right, the PDS video card from a x100 system cannot work in a Quadra 
system without a custom adapter of some sort.  But you never know...
