Based on that, it appears you should try to get a drive from a Mac predating the Quadra/Centris lines, using the auto-inject mechanism. That should ensure the interface with the case front is correct. Theoretically, any Mac drive should be *operable* with the Classic, but the newer manual-inject ones might require leaving the case open due to mechanical misalignment, and that's a bad idea when you've got a built-in CRT to contend with. - Jonathan Morton -- -- ----- You received this message because you are a member of the Vintage Macs group.
