I am going to make the assumption that Marten & Donn are typing tongue in
cheek (I sincerely hope they are).
I use both Mac (mostly 7.1) and Windows (mostly WinME) at home and I enjoy
certain aspects of both (Flame Retardant Suit On!). On my Macs I run
Explorer and Outlook because they have been most stable for me as well as
the easiest to install. On my SE/30 I run System 7.1, Internet Explorer 2
and Outlook Express 4 over my cable service and it is very stable. I have
not used Netscape much on either Mac or Windows so I can't comment on it.
Is Microsoft the evil empire? No more so than most large multinational
Corporations, they're just more overt in their greed than Apple and so make
a more appetizing target. Do I agree with all their business practices? No
But then I can say the same thing about Apple.
My Small Stable of Machines:
128 (needs some work)
512ke (needs some work)
Plus (6 but 2 need some work)
Classic (3)
Classic II
SE/30 (My Favourite)

IIfx (needs some work)
Centris 610
Power Macintosh 6100/60
Tandy 1000/RL (what can I say? It was my first Computer!)
Dell PII 350
Overall, I prefer Macs but I'm not about to give up my Dell!
