Japan also had a concentration camp in China that
made the Nazi camps look like a holiday inn.
Unfortunately in exchange for the data gathered from
the Japanese human medical experiments the allies
didn't prosecute the people responsible. :(

The History Channel also did a show on it.

The Japanese government still says that never
happened.
They still deny the rape of Nanking too and other
atrocities.

In the past decade, evidence has come to light that
the British had broken the Japanese Naval code months
before the USA "broke" it. They knew about Pearl
Harbor
and it's a fair bet Roosevelt did too. He allowed
the Japanese to attack to stir up the people and a
"war economy" would provide jobs for the unemployed,
especially with much of the young male population
drafted into the military.
