I've got some questions for the video gurus on the list. Like a lot of folks
I have a pile of old Macs, and a pile of old PC hardware around the house.
More Macs than monitors for them, and 3-4 excess PC SVGA monitors. I have an
Apple Basic Color Monitor that came with an LC-II, and a High Res Color that
came with a IIcx. I have one of those monitor adapters that is supposed to
allow a PC monitor to work on a Mac, 4 slide switches on top and what I
think are called DB-15 and HD-15 connectors.
I can get the PC monitors working on the LC-II, but not on the IIci or IIsi.
Does anyone know a way to get the cheap, plentiful PC monitors running with
the II's, maybe a web page where some info can be found? Years ago I saw a
page on this where I think there was a method described to rig up a cable
that would allow this to work.
Thanks
Bob
