I have a USR 33.6 external voice/FAX modem that will
absolutely not work, no way, no how with a Mac.
It is NOT a software modem either. USR specifically
did something freaky to how it handshakes or something
to make it not work with a Mac. Why would they do
that? So they could ream the Mac users on price for
the Mac version of the same modem! (Which probably
would also work on a PC.)

I can get it to dial but that's all it will do.
Tried all the tips and tricks but no dice. Works
fine with a PC.
